Going Live Checklist
Everything you need to do before your property goes live.
Congratulations! Your property is nearly ready to start taking bookings.
Before you go live, take five minutes to work through this checklist. These are the most common things hosts miss, and getting them right now can help avoid double bookings, unexpected reservations, and unnecessary cancellation fees later.
✅ Sync your calendars
If your property is advertised anywhere else, make sure your calendars are connected before going live.
An unsynchronised calendar is the most common cause of double bookings.

✅ Set your minimum stay
Think about the shortest booking you'd like to accept.
If your minimum stay is too low, you may receive bookings that don't suit your property or hosting plans.

✅ Review your pricing
Check your nightly rate, cleaning fee and any discounts to make sure you're happy with what guests will pay.
Remember, your earnings will reflect Travelnest's commission, so it's worth checking your pricing before your property goes live.

✅ Check your booking notice
Choose how much notice you'd like before guests can arrive.
For example, if you need time to prepare your property between bookings, make sure your booking notice reflects that.

✅ Pause duplicate listings
If you've listed your property directly on Airbnb, Booking.com or another booking site, make sure you understand whether those listings should remain active.
Leaving duplicate listings live without syncing calendars can lead to double bookings.

✅ Understand how bookings work
Travelnest uses Instant Book, which means guests can book available dates immediately.
Make sure your calendar, pricing and settings are correct before your property goes live.

✅ Understand our cancellation policy
Cancelling confirmed bookings can result in fees from both Travelnest and booking sites.
Most cancellations happen because calendars weren't synced or property settings weren't checked before going live.
Taking a few minutes to complete this checklist can help avoid those situations.
