How to check if your listing is live and what to do next

If you can’t find your property on a booking site like Airbnb or Booking.com, it doesn’t always mean your listing isn’t live. In many cases, the listing is active but difficult to find through search results.

This guide explains how to check your listing properly and when you need to contact Host Support.


 

First: check your listing status in your Travelnest account

The easiest and most reliable way to check if your listing is live is through your Travelnest account.

To do this:

  1. Log in to your Travelnest account

  2. Go to Properties and select the property you’re checking

  3. Click View listings under the property cover photo

Here you’ll see:

  • All booking sites where your property is live

  • The status for each channel

  • A direct link to your live listing on that channel

If a channel is shown as live, selecting it will take you directly to your listing on that booking site.

If your listing shows as live in your Travelnest account, it is live — even if you can’t find it by searching on the booking site.

Why you might not find your listing in search results

Booking sites control how listings appear in search results. Even live listings may not appear where you expect them to.

Common reasons include:

  • Search filters such as dates, number of guests, or price range

  • Competition from similar properties in the area

  • Ranking algorithms used by the booking site

  • Location-based search results

This is normal behaviour and doesn’t mean there is an issue with your listing.

 

If your listing does not show as live in Travelnest

If your listing does not appear as live in your Travelnest account, this usually means it’s still completing setup or validation.

For most booking sites, listings typically go live within one to two weeks of completing your property details.

During this time, no action is needed.

 

When to contact Host Support

If you’ve checked your Travelnest account and:

  • You have been a Travelnest customer for more than two weeks, and

  • Your listing does not show as live in your Travelnest account

you may need help from our Host Support team.

To move this forward, tell us that you’d like a support advisor to review the issue, and include:

  • The property name

  • The booking site you’re checking

Once confirmed, we can take a closer look for you.
