Where can I see my total earnings or get an account statement?

This article explains what earnings information Travelnest provides, where to find it, and what is not currently available.

Do we provide a yearly or total earnings report

Not as a self-serve option.

Travelnest does not currently offer:

  • A downloadable yearly account statement that hosts can access themselves

  • An automated annual payout or earnings report in the dashboard

  • A single page in your account showing your total earnings for a specific year

However, our Host Support team can provide a yearly earnings report on request.

If you need earnings information for a larger date range (for example, for tax or accounting purposes), we can generate a custom Excel report showing:

  • Bookings

  • Payouts made within the requested period

What earnings information do we provide automatically?

You can always access the following earnings information without making a request:

  • Weekly invoice statements Sent on Wednesdays when a payout is processed, confirming the amount issued to you. These show:

    • Each booking included in that payment run

    • Earnings after commission, VAT, and any adjustments

  • Travelnest monthly performance email
    This email includes:

    • Total pay-out: the total amount paid to you in the previous month

    • The figure is converted to GBP

    • Payments shown relate only to guests who have already checked in

  • Booking information in your account

    • Each booking shows its individual payment value, and also provides a breakdown of the commission, VAT, and any promotions or discounts that were deducted from your payout.

    • These values are shown per booking and are not automatically totaled by month or year.

How can I calculate my total earnings for a year?

To see total earnings for a specific year or period:

  • Manually add together the monthly payouts from your performance emails, or

  • Sum the payment values from your weekly invoice statements

If you want a pre-calculated report for a larger date range, contact Host Support and we can provide a custom Excel report.

 

Why don’t earnings show as a yearly total automatically?

Travelnest pays hosts after guest check-in, not at the time of booking.

Because bookings can span different months and years, and payouts are issued weekly, earnings are reported when payments are made, rather than grouped into annual totals.
